- Record Screen on Windows 11 withou Game Bar FAQs
- User Case
At some point in the past, I followed a tutorial on a site to remove the search Xbox Game Bar on my Windows 11 computer, and I can't remember which one to reverse it. I did a search but can't find the instructions I followed originally. Xbox and Xbox Game Bar do NOT show up in the start menu under All Apps, but inside Settings, I can go to "Gaming" and see the option for the Game Bar there, and if I select that I can turn it on/off with no effect.
Essentially, I just need the screen recorder part of the Game Bar and I'm open to using third-party apps. This is needed to record video inside Chrome and not gaming related. Ideally, I'd like to record the 'part' of the screen instead of the full screen, but I'll deal with it if I have to.
Any help/suggestions would be great.
