How Do I Record Internal Audio When Screen Recording?

Rel updated on May 10, 2024 to Screen Recorder Questions and Answers

Hi. I was recording the screen on my Mac computer, but the recorded video only has the voice from my side. It's quite noisy. How can I stop it recording my voice and let it record the internal audio of a Mac computer?

Your recorded video with only the external voice might be because you set the wrong audio source.

🛠️If you use QuickTime, check your audio input with the steps below:

Step 1. Click the "downward arrow" next to the record button.

Step 2. Switch the audio source to "System sound" and uncheck the external microphone.

After choosing the right audio input source, you can now record the screen with the internal audio on your Mac. If you find it hard using QuickTime, I have another recommendation for you: EaseUS RecExperts for Mac. This powerful Mac screen recorder provides multiple recording modes to choose from. With its user-friendly interface, it's easy for you to record screens and the system sound together. Besides, if you forget to turn off the microphone and record unnecessary voices, you can easily remove them with its built-in noise remover instead of recording again. Download this great screen recorder through the button below to begin recording with EaseUS:

💡Here are steps of how you can record the screens and the internal sound together using EaseUS RecExperts for Mac:

Step 1. Launch EaseUS RecExperts for Mac on your computer. You can choose to record with "Full Screen" or "Region" on the main interface.

Step 2. If you want to record only with the internal audio on your computer, turn on "System sound" and turn off "Microphone".

Step 3. Once done, you can start recording with the "Rec" button and stop it with the "Stop" button.

I hope you have found answers to your problem in this post.
