Hi there. I used OBS to record screens on my computer, so I can help you connect the capture card to OBS with a step-by-step guide. Before taking detailed steps on how to connect the capture card to OBS, I should remind you that recording with the capture card on OBS will be a little hassling. If you can accept that, read through it and find the answer.

🚩Follow the steps below to see how to connect a capture card to OBS.

Step 1. Take out the capture card. Connect the capture card with a USB cable to your computer.

Step 2. Turn on the switch of the capture card. Then, open the OBS on your computer.

Step 3. Open the Sources section. Click on the "+" button. Choose Video Capture Device.

Now, you already learned how to connect the capture card on your Windows/Mac. You can use the capture card to live stream and record gaming content with OBS.

However, if you are just a beginner in recording on your computer, I suggest you try a simpler screen recorder such as EaseUS RecExperts, which provides multiple recording modes.
