Hi, there. It seems you are new to OBS. The reason why you failed to record YouTube videos might be the video is encrypted or you have the wrong recording set. 

📝Follow the steps below to correct your recording set on OBS and try again:

Step 1. Open OBS Studio on your computer. Go to "File" > "Settings" to begin changing settings. 

Step 2. Go to the "Output" section and select the "Advanced" button. Set "Recording" with "MP4" for "Recording format" and "X264" for "Video Encoder". 

Step 3. After setting, click on "OK" to save it. Then, try recording YouTube videos again.

📝Here are steps on how to use EaseUS RecExperts to record protected YouTube videos:

Step 1. Launch EaseUS RecExperts on your computer. Click on the down arrow on the left sidebar. Find the "Enhanced mode" and click on it. 

Step 2. A window will pop out. After reading, click on "OK". There will be a slight change on your desktop. 

Step 3. Set for your recording. Choose to record with "Webcam", "System sound", or "Microphone". Then, start recording with the "Rec" button and end it with the "Stop" button.
