There are some methods to improve the audio quality of your recording. 

1. Set up a noise gate

If the noise you mentioned is from a fan in the background or something like that, you can set up a noise gate. You can set the gate to be closed to any signal that is lower than your voice.

2. Use the Noise Suppression and Acoustic Echo Cancellation feature

You can change the settings on your Dell laptop to cancel noise and echo in the audio recording. Check how to do it:
