Can you record a Teams meeting? Of course! In fact, Microsoft Teams physically offers the ability to record meetings. Only your account needs permission to start. Since you are asking, I assume your account doesn't have this permission. So, let's start with the situation you don't have permission!

🍏Record a Teams Meeting without Permission

If your account doesn't have permission to record the meeting, try Xbox Game Bar and EaseUS RecExperts.

👉🏿Record for less than 30 minutes(Xbox Game Bar):

  1. 1. When you want to start recording, press Win + Alt + R to start recording.
  2. 2. Click the Stop button or press Windows + Alt + R again to stop.

👉🏿Record without a time limit(EaseUS RecExperts):

  1. 1. When you want to start recording, launch EaseUS RecExperts, and choose to record Full Screen or a Region.
  2. 2. Choose to record the webcamsystem sound, or microphone as you like.
  3. 3. Click the red REC button to start. To end the recording, click on the red Stop button.

Don't have EaseUS RecExperts on your computer? Download it now!

🍏Record a Teams Meeting with Permission

If your account has permission, start recording by following the steps below:

  1. 1. Open Microsoft Teams to start or join a meeting.
  2. 2. Click on three dots and select Start recording when you are ready to begin. (Everyone in the meeting will be notified)
  3. 3. Click three dots, then Stop recording to end the recording.
