Undoubtedly, Yes! If you use the built-in recording tool, Skype does tell you or someone else when they are screen recording.
While a Skype call or meeting is being recorded, a red Recording banner will be at the top of participants' screens. That means all call participants will receive a notification during the recording.
If you want to record a Skype call or meeting secretly without others knowing, you'd better try some third-party screen recorder software.
As an advanced user, I have tried many screen recorder programs on the market; some are complicated, and some lack advanced tools. Now, the only one I still use for my daily recording tasks is EaseUS RecExperts, an easy-to-use and multi-platform screen recorder.
This screen recorder lets you record anything on your Windows or macOS computer. As for capturing a Skype call, there will be no notification during your screen recording. Aside from Skype, you can also use this tool to record Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or other meetings without the party knowing effortlessly. Here are some highlights:
- Offers various recording modes to meet your needs
- Support recordscreensreen up to 4K UHD quality
- Provide the schedule recording tool to start or stop recording automatically at a specific time
- Export recordings in more than 10 formats
Apart from these basic recording features, this tool provides a lot of advanced features, including AI noise remover, editing tools, and many more. To conclude, it is worth trying!
