Hi guys. If any of you do voice-over work for your training, can you tell me how to eliminate the echo often heard from recording in a room? I will be appreciated.

Hi there!

I have ever tried many hot ways on the Internet to eliminate echo when I start recording my voice, and some of them are below:

  • sit in the closet and surround my microphone
  • start recording voice-over in a closed car
  • use a dynamic mic
  • use a professional audio recording software
  • ...

Among all these methods, the most effective one, I think, is to use a professional audio recorder software. Although there is a lot of audio recording software on the market, the one I highly recommend is always EaseUS RecExperts because of its simple UI and powerful recording features.

This program supports recording both system sound and microphone audio on your device. While recording voice-over, you can enable the Microphone boost or Microphone noise reduction feature to enhance your audio recording so that there will be no echo or other background noise in your audio recordings. Moreover, it allows you to record the screen with audio simultaneously, and you can record as long as you want! Below are the steps to eliminate echo while recording audio:

Step 1. Download and install this software on your device.

Step 2. Click the Speaker icon > Microphone, and enable the microphone boost feature.

Step 3. Once done, click REC to begin your recording.
