AnsweredHow Long Can You Screen Record on iPhone iOS 11?

Is there a limit to how long the new iOS 11 screen recorder can record? I was hopeful to record a two-hour webinar, but it stopped without my knowledge and didn't save.

The maximum screen recording time may depend on the storage space on your iOS 11 phone. For example, a 5-6 minute recording file may take up 1GB of storage. Plus, your phone needs to process the file and save it in the camera roll, which requires another 1GB. Therefore, you can estimate how long you can record based on your phone's storage space.

Most people don't have much storage space on their phones. If you want to record for a long time, you may connect your iPhone to your Mac and record the iPhone screen from your Mac. Thus, the recording file can be stored directly on a Mac, solving the storage space problem.

However, the built-in screen recorder on Mac doesn't record the internal audio along with the screen by default. In this case, you can try a third-party screen recorder - EaseUS RecExperts for Mac. It captures meeting screens with/without internal audio, microphone, and webcam. Download it to have a try now!
