I've tried all on how to enact the video button for FaceTime, and the mic button, hidden by a long press of the record button, needs to show on. Both recordings worked for video, but without a mic button, it won't record the audio! It will record my audio before making an FT call, but then it suddenly stops when I make the call. At first, I thought it had to be something like my original wired earbuds. Nope. The same thing happens without them being plugged in. I updated iOS on my iPhone 13. And there is enough memory space. How can I record the FT screen with audio?
If you are using the Screen Recording function in the Control Center to record your screen, it's normal. You cannot record call audio without the other person's consent on the line. And this is for iPhone users in most countries/regions. The purpose behind it is to protect customers as well as Apple from legal repercussions.
Then, how do you record a FaceTime screen with audio?
You may record the FaceTime screen with audio using a third-party tool called EaseUS RecExperts. This screen recorder can be used on both the Mac and Windows systems. - 1. Launch EaseUS RecExperts and choose a recording mode from "Full Screen" and "Region".
- 2. Click the "Sound" icon to select "System sound" or "Microphone" to record the call audio. Then, click "OK" to continue.
- 3. You can also click "Settings" to customize the output format, recording quality, frame rate, etc. Then, click "OK" to save the changes.
- 4. Finally, hit the "REC" button to start recording and the "Stop" icon to end the recording task. Then, you will be led to the "Recordings" interface.
