AnsweredHow to Record A Full Screen with Only Internal Audio on Windows 10

I have an HP Spectre laptop with Windows 10 OS. I tried to record a video (a lecture) with the screen recorder Windows 10 offers (win+alt+R), but then I found I could not record the internal audio in a full screen mode. Can anyone show me the solutions? Thanks!

Hi, there! Most of you choose to use Xbox Game Bar to record full screen with audio on Windows 10 computer. If you only want to capture the internal audio, you need to do the following settings:

  • After launching your Xbox Game Bar, click the Settings icon > Capturing, and then check All- Game, enabled mic, apps, system option
  • Before your recording, hit the Windows key + Alt + M to turn off your microphone recording
  • Once done, you can press Win + Alt + R to start your recording

However, the settings are not always working; besides, Xbox Game Bar only lets you record for up to 2 hours. Considering these situations, I suggest you use a professional Windows 10 screen recorder for a better recording experience.

According to my experience, I highly recommend EaseUS RecExperts. This software is very straightforward to use and offers various screen and audio recording modes. Whether you want to record full screen with your microphone or the internal audio, you can make it within three simple steps as below:

Step 1. Launch this tool on your Windows PC, then click the small monitor on the left panel.

Step 2. Click on the Full screen option, and choose the system sound as your audio source.

Step 3. When you are ready, click REC to start your recording.

Here, I show you 2 ways to capture Windows 10 full screen with the system sound. Just pick the one that suits your needs best.
