AnsweredWhere are YouTube Downloaded Videos Stored?

I am wondering where the video files are stored when you download a video with YouTube Premium on a PC. Can you show me how to find them on my computer?

If you are not a Premium user and you actually downloaded the video, you can find it on your PC. Let's say you are using a Chrome browser on a Windows computer and your main/boot drive is C, then your YouTube video downloaded will be found in C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User

However, if you are a YouTube Premium user, you may not find downloaded videos because they were not downloaded at all. This is because the "Download" function for YouTube Premium is quite deceiving. Although it says "Download," it actually "saves" the video you want instead of downloading it. So you won't find downloaded videos on your PC.

How can you save YouTube videos to local folders if you are a YouTube Premium user? Well, you can screen-record the videos with EaseUS RecExperts. This screen recorder for Windows and Mac users is capable of recording YouTube videos without a time limit. You can let it download all the videos you want in the background. You can do whatever you want on the computer. Download it from the button below now!
