AnsweredXbox Game Bar Can't Record💔
When I try to record on the Xbox game bar it won't let me it just says it does not work on desktop or files. I'm not on that, I'm on a game.
Well, you may try the fixes below:
1️⃣#Update the Xbox Game Bar app
- 1. Open Microsoft Store and click on the 3 dots.
- 2. Select Download and Updates.
- 3. Update Xbox Game Bar or click Get Updates.
2️⃣#Repair Xbox Game Bar
- 1. Go to Settings and Apps and Features.
- 2. Select Xbox Game Bar in the Apps & Features list.
- 3. Click on the Advanced options and Repair.
3️⃣#Reinstall Xbox Game Bar
- 1. Press Win + X.
- 2. Click Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator.
- 3. Copy and paste the command get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay* | remove-appxpackage and press Enter.
- 4. Reinstall Xbox Game Bar.
4️⃣#Download and install Xbox Game Bar from Microsoft Store again
5️⃣#Restart your PC and try to record again
