This Microsoft screen recorder is built on Windows 10 and 11 computers and is primarily designed to capture gameplay on a PC. But it also supports recording other applications and windows in a full-screen mode and an MP4 file format.

Step 1. On your Windows PC, navigate to Settings > Gaming > Game Mode > toggle on Game Mode. (Steps and interface may vary from different Windows versions)
